Pakistani truck drivers have a long tradition of painting their vehicles. It started out as a way for them to take reminders of home with them on long journeys, and over the years artisans have used everything from wood, metal, jangling chains, shiny objects and even custom 3D pieces to decorate commercial trucks.
Bright and gaudy, yes but look at all theĀ hand paintedĀ detail found in this biggest form of representational art in the country!
