It was a very busy weekend for us at Anaïs Events and we loved every minute. Here are a few snapshots of decor and details from the weekend’s celebrations.
The much-anticipated film, The Great Gatsby, hits theaters next week on May 10. The art-deco, glamorous style of the Roaring 20′s is sure to inspire wedding and event decor this year and into 2014. Blogs and magazines have already begun featuring styled and inspirational shoots honoring the great Mr. Gatsby and the lovely Daisy Buchanan. Here are just a few ideas of how this vintage style can translate into your wedding day.
I’m absolutely swooning over Sophia and Jawwad’s classic and modern muslim wedding! There are so many details that are just so gorgeous – Sophia’s beautiful dress, her subtle and sophisticated heels, the soft romantic flowers all around, the fabulous jewels on all the ladies, but I have to admit that my favorite part of their big day is the way they looked at one another! Love love love this wedding and all the gorgeous photos by Augie Chang!

…and it’s a wrap for this beautiful wedding. The reception was just as magical, as every other carefully-thought out detail of this bride, with the most special one being the bride’s decision to have her first dance to her brother’s live piano performance! It was achingly sweet to see the love and respect that this family shares with one another!
