A vintage-indian inspiration shoot {the desserts}

I’d been wanting to do a dessert table using traditional indian mithai for a LONG time! So here’s how we put together a table full of vintage props, lush florals, and platters of yummy jalebi, rasgullah, ladoo, assorted burfi with a simple sweet cake, chocolate bars, blood orange soda, mango lassi….and a marshmallow kebab!

Block-printed goodies

At Indian weddings, packaging/presentation of the customary gifts exchanged between the families doesn’t get much thought. Bungalow offers a gorgeous assortment of block-printed goodies with patterns of paisleys, florals, and repetitive motifs that guarantee love at first sight!

How about using these handmade paper boxes to house your bridal trousseau items, gifts for the bridesmaids, or the in-laws?! The thought of using these to hold sweets (mithai, ladoos, etc!) is equally charming…
